Inglewood Timber Processor planks are made up of 7 Radiata Pine laminations without any finger joints or scarf joints. All planks have radiused edges and ends and have a band sawn finish, two screws at each end to control end splitting. All timber is untreated and kiln dried. Treated planks are L.O.S.P treated.

Width and thickness: 225/38mm/44mm – 0 + 1 mm.
Available in 3.0 and 3.6 metre lengths as standard.
Other lengths can also be manufactured.

Storage:

Wet planks: Stack planks on three evenly spaced bearers on level ground. Between each layer of wet planks, place fillet directly above the bearer, place stacks in a well-ventilated and dry area.

Dry planks: Stack inside dry area.

Other recommendations:

In high-humidity areas, planks should be filleted to allow air ventilation.

Transportation:

Transporting planks from storage to the worksite – planks should be block stacked into packets and strapped with either metal or plastic strapping. When returning planks back to storage, use the same method.

Maintenance:

Regular inspection of planks is vital for safety. Any planks that are found to be:

** Twisted or warped.
** Split.

** Broken.

** Worn.

** Saw cuts.

** Notch out cuts.

** Nails

** Deep oil deposits.

If any planks are repaired, it is advisable to have them strength tested before they are used.

Each plank is permanently branded on the face with the following information:
